Iran is located on west of Pakistan and has a common border with Baluchistan provistan.Pakistan has very cordial relations with Iran.Pakistan and Iran were members of RCD organization and now they are members of Economic Co-operation Organization-ECO.
     Iran has always supported Pakistan financially and also militarily on a number of occasions.
She supported Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.In 1965 war with India Pakistan got generous financial,moral and material support from Iran.
       Most of the areas of Iran are deserts and plateaus.North west Iran is fertile and intensively cultivated.The major crops are rice,tabacco and cotton.She also produces a lot of fruits and exports
     Iran is not self sufficient in food and imports food grains.She contributes 10% of global crude oil output.She also has deposits of copper,iron,lead,natural gas and also jems and stones.She has specialized in making beautiful hand-woven carpets of exports quality.
       Its climate is extreme,with scanty rainfall in major parts of the country. The population is 50 million and the language spoken is Persian.Its capital is Tehran.
