f sufficient in food.It fought two major wars with Pakistan in 1965 and 1971 on Kashmir issue.Some initial action was underway in February,1999 to have the Kashmir solution solved by dialogues.Still Kashmir is a burning problem between India and Pakistan.Kashmir is a Muslim majority state which was occupied by force by India.The Kashmir Muslims are fighting to have their right of self-determination and they earnestly wish  to join Pakistan.Its capital is New Delhi.
